Hillraiser Support

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Hillraiser is the Tri Surrey climbing leaderboard. It connects to your Strava account to rank club members across 10 official Surrey Hills segments. This page explains how the connection works and how to get help.

What Happens When You Connect

Once you've connected your Strava account:

  • We read your cycling activities, including private ones (the access you grant covers them)
  • Rides that include one of the 10 official Hillraiser segments have your segment time read
  • Your best time on each segment may be included in the club leaderboards

Only confirmed members of the Tri Surrey Strava club appear on the leaderboards. New rides are picked up automatically — no need to do anything after connecting.

Connecting

Use the "Connect with Strava" button on the Hillraiser page and approve the requested access on Strava. To appear on the leaderboards you also need to be a member of the Tri Surrey Strava club.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect at any time, either by:

  • Clicking "Disconnect" on the Hillraiser page, or
  • Revoking access inside Strava (Settings → My Apps → Hillraiser → Revoke Access)

Disconnecting removes your data from the current season's leaderboards.

Common Questions

My ride isn't showing on the leaderboard.

Check the activity is a ride that crosses one of the 10 official segments. New data can take a couple of hours to appear due to Strava's rate limits — check back later and refresh.

I've been asked to reconnect my Strava account.

We occasionally have to migrate to a new Strava app registration. Reconnecting takes a few clicks and your results are restored automatically.
